Goal: To increase emotional awareness and emotional expression.
Description: This game includes six different sets of games cards, based on the level of complexity needed. The purpose of this game is to remember where cards are and try to create matches. The packet focuses on nine different emotions: sad, happy, worried, tired, surprised, bored, mad, excited, and silly. Each card has blanks for the client (or therapist) to write on. Each emotion also has a song associated with it, to be sung by the therapist and/or the client whenever the card is flipped over. The song title is at the top of the card. A blank set of game cards are also included to allow the therapist to adapt cards to meet specific client needs.
